Please read these terms carefully before using our motorcycle rental services in Mykonos.

Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and MYKOMOTO regarding your use of our motorcycle rental services and website. By accessing our website or renting any vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services and must discontinue use immediately.
Rental Requirements
Age and License Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years for scooters up to 50cc
- Minimum age of 21 years for motorcycles over 50cc, ATVs, and buggies
- Valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle category
- International Driving Permit (IDP) for non-EU license holders
- Passport or valid ID for identification
Security Deposit
A security deposit is required for all rentals and will be held on your credit card. The deposit amount varies by vehicle type:
- Scooters (50cc): €200
- Scooters (125cc+): €300
- ATVs: €500
- Buggies: €800
Rental Terms and Conditions
Rental Period
- Minimum rental period is 24 hours
- Daily rentals are calculated on a 24-hour basis from pickup time
- Late returns may incur additional charges
- Early returns do not qualify for refunds
Vehicle Condition
- Vehicles are provided in good working condition with full fuel
- You must return the vehicle in the same condition
- Any damage must be reported immediately
- Pre-existing damage will be documented before rental
Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to return with a full tank will result in refueling charges plus a service fee.
Rental Agreement Terms
By signing this rental agreement, the Hirer hereby agrees and mutually accepts the following terms and conditions:
1. Vehicle Condition and Return
Lessor hereby rents to Hirer the motorcycle specifically described overleaf, which the latter has carefully examined and found it in excellent mechanical condition and with all accessories. Hirer is responsible to return it in exactly the same condition.
2. Hirer Responsibilities
The Hirer is responsible for:
- Damages or injuries caused by the vehicle to property or persons (passengers or not)
- Any damage caused to the vehicle "force majeure" included (the above term is also valid if the vehicle is parked)
- Paying any fines for traffic violations as well as idle time due to removal of plates
3. Accident and Damage Procedures
The Hirer must:
- In case of damage or accident, inform immediately the Lessor and the competent authorities, if required
- In case of accident, cooperate with the lessor and the insurance company by providing names of witnesses and useful information
4. Late Return Policy
If the hirer does not return the vehicle on the time of agreement, the vehicle will by law be considered illegal possession. The hirer will be prosecuted by law. (If the hirer informs about the probable delay there will be no prosecution, only an extra half day charge for the first three (3) hours and a full day extra charge if the three (3) hours are exceeded).
5. Travel Restrictions
You are NOT ALLOWED to travel with this bike outside of Mykonos island.
6. Theft Responsibility
In case of stealing, the hirer has the responsibility.
7. Tire Damage Charges
In case of flat tire, the hirer must pay an amount of €7.35 – €58.70.
8. Vehicle Repossession Rights
The hirer reserves the right to repossess the vehicle at any time without notice, at the customer's expense, if the vehicle is used in violation of this agreement and it must immediately be returned.
9. Authorized Drivers
Only the person(s) referred to in the agreement will be permitted to drive the vehicle.
Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Allowing unauthorized persons to operate the vehicle
- Using the vehicle for racing, competitions, or stunts
- Transporting more passengers than the vehicle is designed for
- Operating the vehicle on beaches, in water, or on prohibited terrain
- Using the vehicle for commercial purposes without authorization
- Modifying or tampering with the vehicle
Insurance and Liability
Insurance Coverage
All vehicles include basic third-party liability insurance as required by Greek law. Additional coverage options are available:
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - reduces your liability for vehicle damage
- Theft Protection - covers vehicle theft
- Personal Accident Insurance - covers medical expenses
Renter Liability
You are responsible for:
- All damage to the vehicle during the rental period
- Traffic violations and fines incurred during rental
- Theft of the vehicle if due to negligence
- Loss of keys, documents, or accessories
Safety Requirements
- Helmets are mandatory for all motorcycle and scooter riders
- Helmets are provided free of charge with all rentals
- Passengers must also wear helmets when applicable
- Seatbelts must be worn in buggies and ATVs where provided
- Follow all local traffic laws and regulations
- Operate vehicles only during daylight hours unless specifically authorized
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Renter
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup time
- Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% refund
- No-shows: No refund
- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
Cancellation by MYKOMOTO
We reserve the right to cancel rentals due to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Vehicle mechanical issues
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure events
In such cases, full refunds will be provided or alternative arrangements offered.
Payment Terms
- Payment is required at the time of booking or pickup
- We accept major credit cards and cash
- Security deposits are held on credit cards only
- Additional charges may apply for damages, late returns, or violations
- All prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
Limitation of Liability
MYKOMOTO`s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:
- Personal injury or death resulting from your use of the vehicle
- Damage to personal property
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business interruption
- Acts of third parties or force majeure events
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek courts.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
